About IIIT Bangalore
IIIT Bangalore has begun its admission process for the academic session 2024. NTA declared the JEE Mains 2024 result on April 24, 2024 for IIIT Bangalore B.Tech admission. Founded in 1999, the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore is one of the well-known engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka. The college has been ranked 62nd in the Engineering category in the country in National Institutional Ranking Framework 2020 and 56th in 2018 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. Besides this, IIIT Bangalore has been ranked among the Top 10 Technical Universities in India as per India Today, August 2020 edition.
International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore is currently offering postgraduate and integrated programmed in engineering and technology. The college also offers a research/ doctoral program in engineering. The faculty members of the college have graduated from well-reputed institutes of the world such as Pennsylvania State University, University of California Berkeley, IISc, Georgia Institute of Technology and Cornell University. The college focus on producing scholars who are deeply committed to research. More than 3,000 students have graduated from the institute since its establishment.
The 9-acre main campus of IIIT Bangalore is situated at 26/C, Electronics City, Hosur Road, Bengaluru. The campus is equipped with world-class facilities such as cafeteria, library, modern classrooms and auditorium. IIIT Bangalore has a separate club for theatre, dance, literature, photography, music, movies and other activities. The college also offers residential facilities to the students coming from other parts of the country.
