Eligibility Criteria Updated for Research Programs - Applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy program must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent, as well as have a good academic record. Specific domain requirements also elaborate on qualifications needed in engineering and other disciplines for each research area.

Applications Open for PhD and MS by Research Programs - International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore) invites applications for its research degree programs, namely, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and Master of Science by Research (M. S. (By Research)). The Ph. D. program has full-time as well as part-time registration options and the M. S. (By Research) program is for full-time applicants only. The students admitted to these programs will be referred to as research scholars.

The NTA has announced the JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 BArch and BPlan results on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The scorecards can be downloaded by applicants using their password and application number. 44,144 candidates took the test for BArch and 18,596 took the test for BPlan. Two applicants obtained a 100 percentile, one in each.

Registration for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 closes on February 25, 2025 (9 PM) with the last date of fee payment as 11:50 PM. The exam provides an opportunity for admission to NITs, IIITs, SPAs, GFTIs, and IIEST Shibpur. JoSAA and CSAB counselling provide transparent seat allocation and special arrangements for students from the Northeast.

JoSAA counselling of JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2025 will start on June 3. The applicants who are looking to get admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and GFTIs need to register on josaa.nic.in. There are five rounds of seat allotment, fee submission, and document verification involved in the process. The approximate timeline is from June to July, and vacant seats will be managed by CSAB.

The answer key for the JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 for BArch and BPlan exams has been made available by NTA. The answer key, response sheet, and question paper can be downloaded from the official website using the application number and password. The challenge facility is available until 9 PM today and will cost INR 200 per question.

Research Domains Available for Admissions - IIIT-Bangalore has several research domains open for Ph.D. and MS by Research degree programs for January 2025 admissions. The relevant research areas include Computer Science, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Communications & Signal Processing, and VLSI and Embedded Systems. Detailed descriptions of active research work in these areas are provided on the IIIT-B website.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 results. Candidates can check their scorecards from jeemain.nta.nic.in with the help of their application number and password/date of birth. The cutoff and All India Rank will be announced along with Session 2 results in April 2025.

The Central Seat Allocation Board has brought in reserved seats and special support for North-East students under JEE Main 2025. Of the 24,000 NIT seats, 2,000 are reserved under the State Quota, and 740 under the NEUT category, encouraging greater access to top engineering institutions.

The NTA has published the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Final Answer Key at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates can download the PDF using their application number and date of birth. The final key, prepared after reviewing objections, is unchangeable and will be used to calculate scores. The JEE Main 2025 results will be announced soon.
